Privacy Policy: Isolation à Rabais

What changes in this version. We describe the cookies as they actually work on our site, we name the partners and providers who work for us, we state that our calls may be recorded, and we explain when we share your information with our partner companies.

1. Who Is Responsible?

The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the management of Isolation à Rabais. You can reach them at any time at info@isolationarabais.com or 1 844 445-4610.

2. What Information Do We Collect?

What you give us: your cell number, your project address and your calculator answers, then, depending on your file, your name and email. You give them to us on our site, by phone, by text or by email.
What we receive from a partner: if your request comes to us from a quote website or from an ad managed by an agency, they send us the contact details and project description you gave them.
For a contract: what is needed for the quote, the work, invoicing and payment and, if you ask us, for your grant application (for example your electricity bill).
Our exchanges: our calls may be recorded and transcribed. Our texts and emails are kept in your file.
Photos: the ones you send us and the ones our installers take before and after the work, as provided in our terms.
Your visit to our site, through cookies (section 8).

3. For What Purposes?

Calculating your price and answering your request.
Reaching you by phone, text or email to follow up on your file. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP.
Planning and carrying out the work, producing your report, invoice and warranties.
Preparing your grant application, if you ask us to.
Checking the quality of our service and training our team, using recorded calls.
Knowing where our customers come from, measuring our ads, showing them to you (section 8) and producing statistics.
Entrusting your project, in whole or in part, to a partner company (section 6).
Meeting our legal obligations and asserting our rights.

We do not use your information for other purposes without your consent.

4. Your Price Is Calculated Automatically

The price shown by our calculator is set automatically from your address, satellite images of your roof and your answers. On request, we explain which information and main factors were used to calculate it. You can have inaccurate information corrected, and a member of our team can review your price.

5. Who Has Access?

Only the people and companies who need it to serve you:

our team, according to each person's role;
our partners working on our behalf: the call centres that answer our calls and make our follow-up calls, our installers, and the agencies that manage our ads, to whom we confirm the sales that came from their campaigns (name, contact details, address and sale amount);
our technology providers, who process the information on our behalf: site hosting, database and security (Cloudflare), phone and texts (Twilio), email (Microsoft), maps, address entry and satellite images (Google), invoicing (QuickBooks), data transfer between our tools (Zapier), audience measurement and advertising (Google and Meta);
artificial intelligence tools, which transcribe our calls and help us answer some texts. Sophie, our texting agent, is an automated system and tells you so when she writes to you;
the grant body (Hydro-Québec for LogisVert, Rénoclimat) and the financing company (Financeit), only if you ask us to;
the authorities, when the law requires it.

Our partners and providers may use your information only for the work we entrust to them, and must protect its confidentiality. Except for the sharing described in section 6, we do not sell or rent your information.

6. Sharing With Our Partner Companies

We may share your information with partner companies when it helps with your project, for example:

a subcontractor or specialized contractor to whom we entrust part or all of the work;
a partner company that can take on your project when we cannot do it ourselves.

We only share what your project needs, usually your contact details, the address and the type of work.

You can refuse this sharing at any time by writing to info@isolationarabais.com. If saying no prevents us from carrying out your project, we will tell you.

7. Information Processed Outside Quebec

Several of our providers, notably Cloudflare, Twilio, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Zapier and our artificial intelligence tools, store or process information outside Quebec, mainly elsewhere in Canada and in the United States.

8. Cookies and Advertising

Our site sets cookies as soon as you arrive. They recognize your browser from one visit to the next, measure how well our ads work and let Google and Meta show you our ads afterwards. Here are the ones we found on our site:

_ga and _ga_… (Google Analytics): measuring visits and navigation on the site. Duration: 13 months.
_gcl_au (Google Ads), with similar data kept in your browser: measuring the results of our Google ads. Duration: 90 days.
test_cookie (Google): checking whether your browser accepts advertising cookies. Duration: 15 minutes.
_fbp (Meta) and fr (facebook.com): measuring the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads and showing them to you again. Duration: 90 days. Meta also receives these measurements through a server hosted by Amazon Web Services.
ir_attrib (Isolation à Rabais), kept in your browser: remembering where you came from (ad, search) so we know which source led to your request. Used for 30 days.

We also use Cloudflare, without cookies, to protect our forms against bots and measure site speed.

The banner shown on your first visit informs you of these cookies. To block or delete them, use your browser settings. You can also turn off personalized ads in your Google account and Meta account settings.

9. How Long Do We Keep It?

As long as needed for the purposes described here, then as long as the law requires, notably for tax purposes and to support your written warranty. After that, we securely destroy it or make it anonymous.

10. Security

Your information is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS). It is stored in systems protected by individual accounts and passwords, where each person can access only what they need for their work. We keep a register of confidentiality incidents. If an incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify you, as well as the Commission d'accès à l'information.

11. Your Rights

Know what information we hold about you and get a copy, including, on request, in a common computer format.
Have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous.
Withdraw your consent to a use or disclosure of your information.
Ask us to stop soliciting you, and stop our texts at any time by replying STOP.
Ask us to delete your information when we no longer have a legal reason to keep it.

To exercise a right, write to the person responsible at info@isolationarabais.com. We reply within 30 days.

Complaints. If you believe we have not respected your information, write to the person responsible. We review every complaint and reply in writing within 30 days. You can also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

12. Solicitation

When we contact you, we tell you on behalf of which company we are doing so, and you can ask us to stop soliciting you at any time.

13. Changes

Any change to this policy is published on this page, with a summary of what changes and its date.
